Tractrix wooden board bending

So here are some photos of how I am going about bending a piece of wooden board.

a). Cut it down to a set of multiple, perpendicular, narrow pieces, each of about 3 cm wide.

b). Arrange it exactly as it looked like prior to cutting  (and do NOT mix the sequence of the segments, or the sunny-sides-up with the sunny-sides-down … )

c). Glue a piece of cloth on top of it

d). Wait until it dries

e). Bend the “board”, or rather the set of narow pieces, according to your taste and preferrence, acording to a tractrix curve, a hiperbolic curve, a logarythmic curve, or whatever else preference you may have …
